About Your Trainer
Rebecca Kase
MSW, LCSW, RYT
She is the author of Polyvagal Informed EMDR: A Neuro-Informed Approach to Healing and the Applied Polyvagal Theory Flipchart. Her clinical specialties include complex trauma, dissociation, and the integration of somatic approaches, Polyvagal Theory, yoga therapy, and ego states into EMDR practice. She has worked with veterans and adults with Complex PTSD across both nonprofit and private settings.
Rebecca is known for making complex clinical content clear, engaging, and immediately usable. Expect a training that is rigorous, practical, and yes, occasionally funny.

- Describe at least two domains of the preparation hierarchy.
- Identify at least two reprocessing techniques for clients with limited ability to flex and feel.
- Analyze the three pronged protocol as it relates to treatment planning.
- Apply treatment planning techniques for creating a symptom focused treatment plan.
- List two constricted processing techniques and how they differ from the full standard EMDR protocol.
- Describe the intention of interweaves and list at least three types of interweaves to use with stuck processing.
- Assess the technique of taxing working memory as an interweave option.
- Describe the role the social engagement system plays in supporting the therapeutic relationship and successful target reprocessing.

8 CEs are available upon completion of all course material.
Trauma Therapist Institute is an approved continuing education provider. ACE, NBCC and EMDRIA CEs are available for this course. APA CEs are not available for this course.
Participants must complete the full training to receive credit.

Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 1/16/25 - 1/16/28.
