Clinical Conversation
Guest: Kyle Poon
Live: Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 @ 1:00 PM CT
On-Demand: Available one week after the live event
How can you show up as a deeply present, truly regulated therapist, when the holidays seem engineered for overwhelm?
Join us free for a clinically honest, down-to-earth Clinical Conversation with registered psychologist, anti-racist trauma therapist, and EMDR consultant Kyle Poon.
Together, we’ll explore how real, sustainable self-regulation and mindful practice can help both therapists and clients feel safe, connected, and resilient in the thick of seasonal stress.
In this conversation, we’ll explore:
- The micro-practices that actually work in session - beyond what you were told to “just breathe”
- Giving yourself permission to rest, reset, and protect your own peace (even when work + family demand more)
- Practical tools to help you and your clients spot glimmers of safety when threat cues multiply
- Using clinical presence, boundaries, and regulation to model hope, when your nervous system is stretched thin
- Simple rituals for transforming holiday overwhelm into moments of connection and comfort
- How to bring your whole, compassionate self into the room, even when your personal battery is low
This isn’t a webinar. It’s real talk for real clinicians. Bring your trickiest questions or just your tired “December self” - you’re welcome as you are.
