What You'll Learn

This advanced training equips EMDR therapists to effectively work with clients experiencing Complex PTSD. You’ll learn to:

  • Adapt standard EMDR protocols to address the unique challenges of Complex PTSD.

  • Assess client readiness and establish safety to prevent dissociation during reprocessing.

  • Understand and work with structural dissociation and ego states.

  • Implement strategies to navigate processing roadblocks, such as looping and avoidance.

  • Apply neuro-informed approaches, including Polyvagal Theory, to enhance treatment planning.

By the end of this course, you'll have a comprehensive framework to safely and effectively support clients with Complex PTSD through EMDR therapy.
